The Greenville Children's Museum

Yesterday, I took the babies to The Children's Museum in Greenville. Wow, it was a wonderful adventure for the kids! The museum is awesome and if I had the time I would have stayed an extra day so the children could digest all it had to offer. Its a brand new facility so I had to use map quest to get directions. I copied the address directly from their website . PLEASE, if you are reading this and you plan to visit the museum soon, DON'T make the same mistake I did. The street address on the website is not correct. I walked 5 blocks in 100 degree weather pushing a double stroller that contained a diaper bag with enough back up baby supplies to last 4 days. Within the stroller were two pissed off, hot, and tired toddlers whose only ambition was to see their cousin at the Children's Museum that was supposed to be located somewhere on Mcbee street. For the record, toddlers have no patience especially after traveling in a car seat for two hours without motion sickness medication. After finally getting there, I explained to Robin in "admissions" how we took a 90 mile hike in the desert without water just to find the place. She said she was sorry. I wasn't consoled by her apology. I wanted a refund for all my pain and suffering in the amount of two thousand dollars.
Hannah and Remi in the maze. The maze was held together with what appeared to be chicken wire. The girls made it to the top and on their way back down Remi tripped and had to grab the wire to keep from falling, NOT a good thing. She got a scratch on her right palm. To Remi this was equivalent to a woman experiencing childbirth without an epidural.

The grocery store. The person that came up with this station is a true genius. The babies loved it the most. Sydney got her own grocery cart and proceeded to break every shopping cart drivers rule in the book. She would only fill her cart with items that contained chocolate. If she didn't find what she was looking for on the shelves she would steal groceries from the other shoppers. She also, on several occasions, tried to use her cart as a bumper car. She innocently mistook oranges for balls which caused her to go into a baby baseball pitching frenzy

The water station. The water station is located just outside the cafeteria where we had lunch. Sydney loved it even better than chocolate cookies and Celine DionSome random pictures of the girls getting my money's worth

The cow. Sydney was completely blown away by her and the pigs. It was so funny. In the third picture she is milking the cow. We tried to get Remi to milk the cow too but she flat out refused because as the reigning Diva Princess of the Universe, it just wouldn't have looked right.
Remi and the scarecrow. He had his hand out permanently for all the kids to shake. Remi eventually did shake his hand after she explained to him that she would have her big brother kick his ass if he caused her fear in any way

I love their matching outfits, so cute. My kids always have so much fun at our museum.

Oh, and Justice's outfit wasn't a dress, it was a shirt. I got it on Walmart clearance, for $1. Whoo-hoo.
